What are some fun things to do near or in Washington DC?

there aren't any indoor miniature golf courses in the area, and there are rock climbing, laser tag, and roller skating around different areas, but guess it all depends on what section of Fairfax you are in or looking in. Big territory means a lot of ground to cover. I might suggest taking the metro into the city and getting off at the Verizon Center station. There is a bowling alley called Lucky Strikes next to the center.You are also a short walk from two new museums, the International Spy Museum and Newseum which have great hi-tech, interactive exhibits for all ages. A few blocks further is the ESPN zone which has two floors of games and activities.
