... :( Hey...y :( ...?

so... after track practice the other night my guy friend took my phone. he was having troubles working it... (my phone is kinda complicated) and he accidentley sent a text to my crush that said hey y (he was trying to send it to himself)... (he is an odd child, hahaha) anyways, that doesn't seem horrible... i mean i could just explain that he took my phone, but he didn't know it was me. I got his number from my friend and i had never texted him... so the first text he ever got from me was hey y :( he asked me who it was and i cleverly avoided the question and just apologized! I thought everything was fine and i would explain it to him later. but the next day in spanish i was talking to my friend who sent it and my spanish teacher over heard us. he had my crush the next our and was like "so did you get any weird text last night?" and then he told him it was me :( so i never had time to explain... :( so i am a now i am embarred when i see him and i am scared that he is afaid of me now! :( any advice on what to do when i see him at school?
