i think you're absolutely right. it seems pretty clear that both club and player want to part ways. barca clearly are the favorites to sign david villa and i imagine that is why they want to offload his contract. eto'o's wage demands are just so ridiculous that mark hughes refused to be bullied into accepting it. man u has also declared that they too have pulled out of a supposed 18 million pound bid for the striker. poor guy has handcuffed himself with his unwillingness to be flexible. you would think that a guy who constantly gets berated by racist s in spain would welcome any move with open arms, but who am i to say?
