Does scientology really deserve credit as a religion ?

Ok, all religions are nonsense, but scientology takes the cake. They are all a bunch of whistle-blowers suing anyone that does not deem scientology as a religion. For christ sake it is based on a science-fiction novel !! My favorite Bill Maher quote, (Im gonna paraphrase), is that by the time Scientology got to the crazy trough, all of the good crazy was taken.
