I am filling out some divorce papers and I need some help?

I am going over some divorce doents in Florida and on a couple of the form it says Petitioner and Respondent. They are both forms that we have to fill out separately. I'm just not sure what to put in there. They are financial affidavits and another form. We each have to fill out our own form and have it notarized separately. I'm not sure if on each of our forms we are the petitioner and the other one is the respondent or is the petitioner and respondent the same on both? Your help would be appreciated.
