Whatever happened to the likes of the ancient great in this modern world?

I sadly agree...and QuiteNew made me think of this.... If you ask a group of children what they want to be when they grow up, you don't hear, 'doctor, fireman, scientist'. You hear, 'rock star, movie star, celebrity'. Vividly shows what we have elevated to prestigious positions and when the piper arrives we'll have a costly debt to settle.
